Integrated automation of "Public clinic under scientific supervision of V.I.Dikul"

Task

In 2013, the representatives of the clinic under scientific supervision of V.I.Dikul decided to change the program "Infoklinika" for proprietary software. To develop this product, the contractor chose our company.

Basic modules of the program

The program provides jobs for the following employee groups:

  • Reception;
  • Call-center;
  • Doctor and nurse;
  • Head nurse;
  • Cashier;
  • Data editor;
  • Branch manager;
  • Holding company director;
  • Book-keeper.

Medical appointment booking

Work with a patient begins with an appointment. This service is provided by two employee groups: employees working at reception and call-center. Sometimes a doctor can make an appointment.

The clinic schedule is shown in the main desktop window:

Different situations are indicated by different colors. For example, primary patients are shown in turquoise color; patients who are late - in brown color; indebted patients - in red color, etc. In addition, the schedule shows the reserves (made by the clinic or by the doctor personally).

Clicking on the free time for an appointment, the operator opens a recording form, selects a patient, a service, and specifies the payment parameters:

The service can be paid either via the cash desk (cash or bank card), or by bank transfer: via insurance or other legal entity.

In addition, it is possible to specify a discount when making an appointment:

  • Single use;
  • Constant discount of a patient;
  • Promotional discount (for example, «on Fridays there is 30% discount for MRI»).

If the patient comes for the first time, the new client form is used:

It should be noted that In this case, you can even point to a third-party clinic as a source of advertising. By the end of the month, a detailed report for such doctors is automatically generated.

Viewing data on all patients is carried out through a special form. In addition to general information, there are several bookmarks with a history of services provided to a patient. For example, you can browse through the list of services:

  • Forthcoming services (which have been appointed by a patient or a doctor);
  • Rendered services;
  • Medical protocols for rendering services.

Payment for services

When an appointment has been made, a patient goes to the cash desk and pays for a service. A cashier finds him in the payment list by name and marks the payment. Also a cashier can provide return and various reports:

A doctor's workplace

The main working window of a doctor is shown in the picture:

As you can see, a doctor works with patients in the left part of the window and sees his schedule in the right part.

When a patient comes to an appointment, a doctor clicks on the appropriate entry in the schedule, marks the service and fills in the medical protocol:

It is worth noting that protocol templates in the program are prepared for different categories of services in advance. A doctor only chooses the one he needs and fills it.

In addition, a doctor can add his own text templates for each field of the protocol so that he doesn't have to type the same text many times.

In his free time a doctor can view information about the medical history of other patients.

Also, a doctor has an appointment book, where all his patients, various reminders, etc. are shown.

Reference books

The program provides many configurable reference books:

  • Shareholding structure: clinics, departments, specialties, etc.;
  • Services: consumables, categories, analyses and so on;
  • Diagnoses according to ICD and the corresponding diagnosis and treatment plans;
  • Personnel;
  • Financial data: insurance companies, legal entities, cash desks, etc.;
  • Marketing information: advertising sources, reasons for cancellation and so on.

They are edited by the corresponding users.

A work schedule is displayed for each doctor, and it can be specified either for fixed days of the week ("on Mondays from 9 to 13"), or for specific dates. It is also possible to see the total occupancy of the doctor's offices.

Work with insurance companies and legal entities

The program allows to provide services at the expense of insurance companies or legal entities (for example, various coupons).

To do this, it is necessary to select the appropriate payment method when making an appointment. After that, the program requests an insurance company and a letter of guarantee. If the letter hasn't been introduced earlier, then the operator can add it "in process".

Reporting and statistics

Many reports are available to directors and chief doctors. At the same time, the holding director sees reports on all the centers, and the center director sees reports only on his center.

For example, in one of the reports it is possible to see the main performance indicators, i.e. the amount of services rendered, their cost, average purchase amount, doctors' working hours, number of protocols and appointment card, and so on.

At the same time, different detail levels are available: it is possible to look through the complex data about the center, and to deploy it up to a specific doctor. It is also possible to see the data by types of patients: primary, return, medical, etc.
